Description: Lender improperly charged fixed rate to an adjustable rate mortgage and overcharged escrow, resulting in negative consequences to homeowner. Lender filed for foreclosure. Via bankruptcy process, we were able to have an accountant appointed to do a forensic audit and determine correct amount due. During the course of the case, the lender violated court orders and I argued successfully that its actions should be deemed void. Client/Debtor's ultimately kept their home.
