That is difficult to answer. The courts look to whether you are a risk to the community and whether you are a risk of flight. Apparently the court felt you were one or both. If the charge is manufacturing meth - my guess is the court felt you were a risk to the public. This has nothing to do with whether you are found guilty or not. You should immediately seek an attorney. There are many including myself who would be happy to represent you or seek the help of a public defender. Don't...

If you contact the court, most courts have a "walk in" calendar. They will allow you to come to court and get your warrant quashed and schedule a court date. Generally you only get one chance for a walk in. If you can't post cash, call a bail bondsmen. They will post it for you after you agree to their terms. Based upon the amount of...

I agree your first step is to contact DSHS to find out about their requirements. However, I would also start working on expunging your record because no matter where you want to work, having this on your record will not help especially in this economy.

If he has no prior convictions and depending on the how the 2 counts are classified, he is most likely looking at 3 to 9 months. I am happy to give a free consultation and there are plenty of attorneys on AVVO who will do the same depending upon the location of the case. Good luck
You should call a VA attorney and see what they say. Most attorneys will give a free consultation. Hopefully this hasn't affected your WA drivers license because it can. If you have a valid license now, and insurance that helps particularly in WA state. Good luck. If you get suspended here based on VA, take care of it right away. There are ways to fight it in WA state if this happens.
You can do a public disclosure request to the police department for a video. As for the videoes themselves, police must ask/advise a person they are being recorded. They are required to do this as they begin any conversation that is being recorded. They must advise you and if they do not the video or recording can be suppressed as evidene. Our courts have found that the office can still testify about the stop in general, but the video should not come into evidence. KOMO television is...
First, you need to discuss the case with an attorney from California. Sometimes, depending upon the charge, cases in California can be handled by the attorney with miminal time spend by you. You do need to handle this as it will only get worse the longer you do nothing. Get on AVVO and find an attorney in the area where the crime is charged. Many attorneys will give you a free consultation so don't wait. Call someone today.
