    • I do not recommend Jon Springer.
    • I hired Jon 1-3 years ago.
    • Jon handled my Criminal Defense matter.
    • I have previously worked with 1-2 lawyers.

Mr. Springer was attentive and concerned for me and my case during the initial consultation. However, as soon as I paid his retainer, it was a different story. Mr. Springer would never return phone calls nor respond to voicemails. If I wanted to know anything about my case I would have to check OJIN myself. Would not recommend.

  2. Very capable attorney. I recommend.

    • I recommend Jon Springer.
    • I hired Jon more than 3 years ago.
    • Jon handled my Criminal Defense matter.

When I researched to find a top criminal defense attorney in the Bend, Oregon area, Mr. Springers name came up most often as being both a capable and fearless attorney. I needed the best attorney I could find, because good cross examination skills would be needed to impeach some false testimony. Additionally, whoever accepted my case would be the target of the wrath of a primary prosecution witness and alleged victim who has a history of making gang threats and a history of violence/agression and of retalliation. I explained to Mr. Springer the risk to him as I knew it, and he did not appear the least bit imtimidated and did accept my case. His confidence in my "case" helped reduce my worries while awaiting trial, which helped a great deal. It all ended with the prosecution dropping the charges. I give Mr. Springer the highest recommendation, and not just because of the happy ending, but because is just flat out a good defense attorney. And I might mention that a convenience store clerk that I happened to talk to mentioned that Mr. Springer is her neighbor, and that she is aware that he sort of looks after an elderly woman who lives nearby and does helpful things for her about the house. I learned this before I retained him, and of course it added to my confidence that he is a good and decent man. If you are a good citizen with a clean record and you find yourself falsely accused, as was I, then you may well agree with me that a good criminal defense attorney is probably the most valuable profession of all. I do not have confidence in the justice system, but I do have confidence in Mr. Springer, and this helps balance it all. He is popular, so he is very busy, so be sure to call for an appointment well in advance.
