I am an immigration trial lawyer and the founder of Acquest Law Inc. in Sacramento. I am a Certified Specialist, Immigration and Nationality Law, The State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization. I have been a member of the California Bar since 2013.
My practice centers on removal defense in immigration court: asylum, withholding of removal, protection under the Convention Against Torture, and cancellation of removal. I prepare every hearing as a trial, with declarations, corroborating evidence, country-conditions research and witnesses ready well before the deadline.
When a decision is wrong, I keep going. I handle appeals to the Board of Immigration Appeals, petitions for review in the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the Ninth and Second Circuits, and habeas corpus petitions in U.S. District Courts for clients in immigration detention.
I also represent clients in family-based petitions and adjustment of status, U visas, VAWA self-petitions, Special Immigrant Juvenile status, employment-based matters, and R-1 religious worker petitions.
I earned my J.D. from McGeorge School of Law, along with an MBA, an MPH and an MHA. Consultations are available by Zoom for clients anywhere in the United States, with help available in Hindi and Punjabi.

Proffesionalism
Comforting and reassuring attitude; I knew I was working with the right guy straight away. Immigration is an intimidating process; everything was handled on point each time.

Crazy Neighbor
I am satisfied with the work that Mr. Virdi had done so far. He appears to be well versed in the laws pertaining to my case. My only complaint is I wish he was a little better with communication. Some calls and emails went unanswered.
Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback and recommendation and thank you for sharing your thoughts. I take all feedback seriously and want to continually improve my legal practice. Your opinion is very much appreciated. Let our team know if there is anything we can do to help.
