Practice Area:Construction / Development

Outcome:Complete Defense Verdict (after 8 Day Bench Trial)

Description:Successful represention at trial of two defendants, a CSLB licensed contractor and a separate employee/licensed contractor (an RME). Plaintiff, who owned an investment property in Menlo Park, sued them (and several others) in connection with door replacement and trim/millwork services that plaintiff had contracted for at his property, but subsequently cancelled during the installation process. Plaintiff claimed numerous causes of action for fraud, breach of contract, negligence and intentional infliction of emotional harm, alleging that defendants caused him close to $400,000 in damages. After a long bench trial, my clients prevailed and obtained a full defense verdict.
