Absolutely, tell your attorney everything. Although, the insurance company has a right to investigate your injuries, they do not have the right to divulge private medical information to third parties not connected with your case. It sounds malicious and an invasion of your privacy. Follow your lawyer's advice. Best of luck.
Had you started the LLC before the accident, you would be in better standing. If the plaintiff is successful at trial, his attorney would argue that you are trying to hide assets and would probably attempt to penetrate the corporate shield in search of assets. If the plaintiff is successful, and you have personal checking and savings accounts in the bank, the plaintiff will be able to levy your money. Get local help. Good luck.
Get your attorney to address these questions. Each attorney and each case is different, so one attorney's way is different than yours. I like to hear from my clients every three weeks. If I do not hear from them, then I call them. I also send correspondence regarding their case including all pleadings. Do not be afraid of your attorney. You are his boss. Best of luck.
No injuries and want your car fixed. Easy. Call your insurance company and give them the information and tell them to fix your car. If you do not have collision coverage, then get an appraisal and file a small claims case and sue the driver. His insurance will pay the claim. Best of luck..
If they have money pay for the filing fees. If they do not, file a Fee waiver for the Guardian and the minor child. If there is over $10k or more of recovery later, just make sure to pay the Court back for the filing fees. Best of luck.
WHETHER YOU SUE OR SETTLE DEPENDS ON THE FACTS OF YOUR CASE AND ON THE AMOUNT AVAILABLE AS INSURANCE. YOUR CASE SEEMS TO BE A SERIOUS TYPE AND I SUGGEST YOU HIRE A PI ATTORNEY TO ADVISE YOU. BEST OF LUCK.
Hit by a PG & E truck? Whether you have a great case depends on your personal injuries, the length of treatment, the severity of your injuries, your pain and suffering, your diminished quality of life, your mental distress, your loss of consortium etc., etc. etc. No personal injury attorney could give you a flat statement without meeting with you and analyzing your case. Better get a PI lawyer if your personal property and medicals are mounting up. One final remark to you and all posters.....
