I hired Kevin for my divorce case. Kevin did not do anything in my case and had no direction whatsoever. He had no suggestions in my case and just told me to swallow it up and accept my case. I changed my attorney and got much better outcome in my case. If you are going through divorce, I would not advise you to hire Kevin. Please keep looking, there are other attorneys out there that can help you better. I’m so glad I realized that at an early stage of my divorce and changed my attorney.

Mr Flynn advised me to accept the worst case outcome for every motion I suggested he make. I understand motions cost money, however, they are worth spending money if they can potentially avoid capital payment by his clients (to the other party). Since he came recommended i deferred to his judgement. After realizing my mistake i moved on to a different lawyer who assured me that all of my suggestions were reasonable and in line with the process of divorce in CA (I had already done my research using the excellent resources provided by the Nolo Press publications). My new representation moved the case forward and forced a settlement in half the time i spent with Mr. Flynn as my counsel.
I'm not sure why Mr. Flynn did not provide me the vigorous representation i was requesting. Perhaps he thought the risk/reward ratio was too high. That is how he advised me anyway. In my opinion he was wrong and i feel my approach has been validated after moving on the other representation. I don't think he's a bad lawyer but in retrospect i think he may be too non-confrontational for the kind of law he's doing. It is possible to fight for your client and be reasonable at the same time. The entire process is a negotiation between two parties. Perhaps he needs to get reacquainted with this concept.

I found Atty. Flynn totally by chance and was very surprised to find such an honest, experienced, and personable attorney after a very comfortable initial consultation. I had done my research using the Internet to find attorneys of good ratings, but the previous attorney I retained was just not for me and I had no choice but to discontinue. In a big hurry trying to find a replacement, I interviewed 3 other attorneys and almost hired one whom I wasn't totally comfortable with simply because I felt that I had no time left, but she would not accept credit card or personal check. It was at the end of the day and I had to wait until morning to go to the bank to get a cashier's check. The good thing was the bank didn't open until 9:00 am and I had half an hour to think about the conversations I had with them. I was told that Fremont court was closed and all cases have been transferred to Hayward, and one attorney knew all the judges and mediators very well. These two hints made me think that I should take a look at attorneys in Hayward area, which I have not looked at before, and I found Atty. Flynn. I called the office and the secretary told me that he was already scheduled for court on my court date. Glad I left my number there and a few minutes later, Atty. Flynn called me back and said there was no problem with the court date. I was very happy that he offered me plenty of time during the initial consultation. It was a totally different experience from my first attorney who only had approximately 5 minutes for me during a 30-min consultation. Atty. Flynn gained my total trust and I felt comfortable retaining him.
His assessment of the case was always right on target. He offered me plenty of good advices that exceeded my expectations. He has extensive experience and resources to tap in for my case. He handles my money and billing really well and that's one thing I don't think any one could match. My case is not over yet and after all these months since I retained atty. Flynn, I really think I was very lucky finding him. I could tell that he is well respected in and outside the court by all. He is well-established in the area and maintained good relationships with other professionals. It's really convenient that he accepts credit card without charging a fee and you don't have to pay for copies. It's just a good feeling that he takes these small things into consideration to make you feel good. I think the most important thing I learned from him is how to present myself as an honest and trustworthy being, and conduct myself to be respected by others. Definitely will recommend him to others.

Retained Atty. Flynn for divorce and custody cases. Advisement was always right on- even if I didnt always agree initially or like the reality of the case. Advice is always to the point, he offers pros and cons of course of action, shares his invaluable experience with cases and courts to guide decision process, respected by peers and judges, careful to have me invest only when I was certain to get the desired outcome, respectful and reliable. Excellent experience. We highly endorse Atty Flynn.
