Charles Josiah Schurter

Charles Schurter (who prefers to be called Chuck) has beenpracticing law for over 16 years with experience in civil litigation,employment law, personal injury, business formation, and contracts.  Currently he is a sole practitioner withoffices in Tustin and Corona that focus primarily on bankruptcy andsmall business matters.   Chuck previouslyserved as General Counsel and Vice President of Profab, Inc., a manufacturing companyin Santa Ana,where he managed the Reebok Spin Cycle program and implemented standardoperating procedures throughout every department in the company.      

Chuck's professional career includes representing artistPhil Hanks, who paints portraits and sports art.  Chuck recently promoted a one-man art show ofPhil's work that was exhibited at the Nottingham Gallery in Newport Beach.   Chuck's initial formal education is in technicalareas, and prior to practicing law he was employed as an electronic technicianand mechanical designer.  Chuck is alwayson the lookout for a challenging new project to get involved with.   His reputation as a "Renaissanceman" provided him the opportunity several years ago to spearheaddevelopment of a revolutionary new product for a company that manufacturesinventory dispensing systems.

Chuck attained his Juris Doctorate from Western StateUniversity College of Law, graduating with Scholastic Merit, serving on LawReview, and earning four American Jurisprudence Awards.
