Description: Mattel sued MGA, maker of the Bratz dolls, for copyright infringement and misappropriation of trade secrets, claiming the dolls were Mattel's because they were designed by a former Mattel employee while he was still working for Mattel. MGA denied the allegation and sued Mattel for misappropriation of MGA's trade secrets through corporate espionage. Jennifer represented MGA at the retrial in U.S. District Court.
