About Me

Judith A. Williams is a recognized mediator and collaborative law attorney with 15 years of experience in all areas of family law.  She has been a Panel Attorney on the Orange County Juvenile Dependency Court for 7 years, representing adoptions, foster children, and guardianships.  In 2009, Judy was named one of Orange County’s Top Lawyers by OC Magazine.

Judy’s mission with The Center for Mediated Divorce (CMD) is to help clients amicably resolve disputes out of court and avoid the severe financial and emotional costs associated with lengthy litigation.  Judy understands the needs of families facing divorce, as well as the potentially devastating impact it can have on children.  Her decision to not do litigation supports her motto for CMD, “A Place for Peaceful Solutions”.

As the managing attorney at the Center for Mediated Divorce, Irvine lawyer Judy Williams compassionately helps people resolve their issues in a divorce without having to go to court. Since 1996, she has been practicing as an attorney. Ms. Williams previously served as president and board member of the Orange County Women Lawyers Association.
