I was in a bad situation and was advised to see an attorney. Went to see Mr Edmunds. Seems okay so I decided to use him. He charged me 1500 $ up front. For 1500.00$ I got a list of paperwork I could have gotton myslef for no cost. He then asked me for another 1500.00 $ . I asked what was going to happen and was told he was pursuing an avenue . After 4 years and almost 4500$ I have no real help form Mr Edmunds . This was a security clearance issue. What I did get was another letter asking for more money. Call me niave but I thought he could help me but it seems he is a high risk play .
I hired the Edmunds Law Firm; specifically, Alan Edmunds, to handle my security clearance issue, as the research I conducted on the Internet clearly pointed to him as THE expert in dealing with DoD security clearance matters. Alan, and his staff, did an amazing job handling my case, and representing me during my administrative hearing. I'll be honest -- I was unsure what to expect from Alan, as I hired him telephonically, and physically did not meet him until, literally, one hour prior to my hearing. That being said, Alan was beyond prepared for my case, and represented me flawlessly throughout my legal proceeding, as well as post-proceeding matters. To date, I'm still awaiting the outcome of my case; however, I'm 100% confident I choose the absolute best attorney to represent my particular interests. A big thank you to Alan and his professional staff ... I highly recommend!!
Most of my communication with the law firm was through his legal assistant gathering documents. When I contacted Attorney Edmunds he quickly responded, even on the weekends. Where he shined was where it mattered, in the courtroom. He did an amazing job in court and left me no doubt that he thoroughly read the material I had given him and was extremely familiar with my case.
I haven't received a decision yet, but I left the court room feeling very good.
I highly recommend.
I was rejected for an L-clearance at a major government lab for a past association with alcohol abuse. I was stumped on how to appeal as I was no longer drinking. I contacted Edmunds associates and they gave me a 'blueprint' on how to shape my appeal, answered many questions along the way and wrote my rebuttal to the allegations. Today I have my clearance from DOE and I wouldn't have without their help.
Alan represented me when my security clearance was denied. Communication and expectations were clear, responses timely, and I was granted my Secret Clearance and maintain it to this day.
I was represented by attorney Edwards for a complex security clearance issue and he provided the most professional, proficient and timely service. Our outcome was a positive one and the follow-up and follow-through on all matters from Attorney Edmunds was the best service I've receive in any representation. If you have a security clearance issue, Mr. Edmunds is definitely the attorney to call. Thank you and your staff Attorney Edmunds for outstanding service.
I used the law firm of Alan Edmunds to assist with responding to a Statement of Reasons. I emailed Alan on a Saturday and received an immediate response the same day. Alan asked me about the case and offered me a flat rate. I told Alan I wanted to speak to a few other attorneys locally and that I would get back to him.
After speaking to these other firms, I was astonished at the cost they waned to charge. All of them wanted to skip the written response because they said that written responses hardly work and wanted to go right to a hearing and bring in expert witnesses. Their cost was between 8-12K.
I went back to Alan and he said that his firm has a great track record of written responses and I trusted him. Well, that paid off because after working with one of the attorneys in Mr. Edmunds firm, my security clearance was granted.
Ryan and the rest of the firm were easy to work with, very accessible, and good at explaining what documents I needed and why. I would use this law firm again if I ever needed legal assistance with a security clearance and highly recommend them.
I can gladly express my heartfelt thanks to the Alan Edmunds firm for the outstanding effort that produced the swift and successful result achieved on my security clearance matter. The upfront description of services and prices was comforting and absolutely backed up with the insight, savvy and experience to set my situation right.
I had a short suspense date to have a security clearance reply brief. I emailed Mr. Edmunds and he replied that same day. He answered all of my questions and got started on the brief and had it submitted in time. With the help of Mr. Edmunds and his staff, I know have my security clearance and the opportunity to continue my career and provide for my family. “THANK YOU” Mr. Edmunds and staff!!
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY
I used Alan Edmunds lawyer for my security clearance case on 2010. They charged flat rate for the hearing, The flat rate is cheaper compare to other lawyer charged, but services are cheap too. DO NOT WASTE COUPLE THOUSAND DOLLARS AND LOSE THE OPPORTUNITY TO WIN THE CASE. The lawyer told me this is a easy case, nothing to worry about, we will win. They did not told me the strategy how to win this case, and whatever they prepared for the hearing were other security clearance cases that post on government website and documents related to me. We met at the build where hearing office located, he only asked two or three questions about my personal information which are on my documents that he should have in his office. The hearing did not take very long because he did not have any documents or points to show to the judge. After case denial on the
hearing, I paid them again to file appeal, all they did were mailed my write up letter to appeal the case to the appeal office without anything else, I could do it by myself, and they charged me couple thousand dollars again just to mail the letter for appeal. Either they already know this case is not going to win or they just do not case about the case, because the flat rate is pay advance, they already got the money.Good luck if you going to use him.
