Kevin Michael Cruz

Kevin M. Cruz is an Associate with Gray•Duffy, LLP. Mr. Cruz’s current practice areas include business litigation,employment law, insurance law, catastrophic personal injury, industrial accidents, premises liability, civil rights,construction defects, and medical malpractice. In addition to his civil trial experience, Mr. Cruz has also argued before the California Appellate Court, the California Department of Insurance, and the California Department of Fair Labor Standards Enforcement. Mr. Cruz is licensed to practice in all of the courts of the State of California and the U.S. District Court.

Mr. Cruz graduated with honors and received his Juris Doctorate from Vermont Law School in 1995 and obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and History from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 1990. While at Vermont Law School, Mr. Cruz argued before the Vermont Supreme Court as a finalist in the Debevous Moot Court Competition, and was a member of the Moot Court Advisory Board. He was also on the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Advisory Board.

While at Vermont Law School, regularly ranked number one in the country for its environmental law program, Mr. Cruz assisted at the South Royalton Legal Clinic. This clinic assisted residents from the surrounding area who are unable to afford counsel and who need assistance with issues involving family law, housing, welfare and unemployment, health care, immigration, Social Security, etc. in state courts, federal courts, and administrative hearings. During law school Mr. Cruz also worked in criminal defense for the Alternate Public Defender of the County of Los Angeles.
