You should expect to be charged with a DUI and for the DUI to try and suspend your license. You should have an attorney review your case and help defend you, both in court and at the DMV. This is a very serious case with life long implications.

This sounds like a “cut and paste” cop. Your case can be fought but it is too hard to tell what your chances would be without doing a full investigation. I will tell you this, you odds of beating the DMV and DUI in court are much better with a skilled DUI attorney then doing it on your own.

Maybe. But maybe a "wet" is a poor deal. Maybe you will make things worse. It is best to have a professional handle the case with you. Work with an attorney to get the best possible result. And don't forget about the DMV!

Prayer. What you already know is this is a borderline case and you need a skilled DUI attorney to help you. Just asking the question shows that you know better than to try and do this yourself. Doctors don’t practice on themselves, lawyers don’t handle their own cases, and you should not try and do this without an attorney.

One year from the date of suspension. Not the date of arrest or the court conviction. It is when the DMV imposed the hard suspension, maybe 30 days after the arrest. However, evening winning at trial will not, in itself, overturn the DMV. Best to talk to your lawyer about this.
