Sandra Griffin v. City of Los Angeles

Description: Sandra Griffin was an uninsured motorist, not entitled to any compensation for pain and suffering. Her vehicle was broadsided by a speeding Los Angeles Police Officer who had swerved to avoid another vehicle which dangerously cut out in front of him. We contended the City was responsible in part for the collision and they should pay for Sandra's enormous future medical care needs, because she had a traumatic brain injury. The jury unanimously agreed.
