After paying Dianne a total retainer amount of $8,000 and having little resolved over the course of 6 months, I made the decision not to continue with Diane's representation, I 'fired' Dianne. 15 days AFTER I dismissed Dianne, on 12-4-14 Dianne ‘retaliated’ via filing of a motion to withdraw - stating "Petitioner was warned and then failed to honor the terms of the client services contract…..which leaves counsel with no choice but to withdraw representation". Dianne submitted false allegations to the Court. Her actions: highly unprofessional. The withdrawal should have been submitted as a 'mutual agreement'.
Dianne Sullivan's actions were unethical, incorrect, and defamatory. An attorney has a fiduciary duty to their clients. They must act in the best interests of their clients, not their own. The attorney-client relationship should be absolute - clients place trust in their attorneys. Attorneys must live up to their duty to ensure that trust is not violated. Dianne's character assassinations are now part of the court record. An unacceptable action for an attorney to inflict on a client This is what $8,000 buys, disinterest and disrespect. Just short of the final 10 min. Pre-trial hearing (which precedes the final dissolution hearing), I had $800 left in retainer fees remaining. Dianne committed, in writing, to represent me one final time (at the 10-min. telephonic pre-trial). After that commitment, Dianne's staff pressed me daily to allow continued representation and to pay an additional $7,000 for the purpose of representation at the final hearing.
I recommend NOT hiring anyone from this firm, particularly Dianne Sullivan. The manner in which client representation is conducted is unethical and ultimately hostile. This client is filing an action with the Arizona State Bar.
diane was the most vicious and untrustworthy person I've ever met she drew by case out for more than a year bled my family dry destroyed my children and all she cared about was getting paid.
if there's a way to go back and turn back the clock I would do it. And i wouldI do everything I could to keep Diane Sullivan away from my case
I would recommend Dianne to anyone struggling with child custody issues. Dianne is aggressive, informed, and caring. Both Diane and her paralegal Marti were responsive and kept me in the loop, even though at times I probably seemed a bit over bearing. It takes a special kind of person to be a family law attorney, and Dianne is great.
She helped me and my 6 month old son get through a domestic violence divorce and gave me the knowledge that I needed and help. I recommend her to anyone.
