Jason Alan Forman

Jason A. Forman practices in Fairfield and Woods, P.C.'s litigation group where he represents businesses and individuals in a wide variety of complex disputes related to real estate, misappropriation of trade secrets, construction, secured transactions, mechanic’s liens, and collections. Jason also represents creditors and protects their rights in bankruptcy proceedings.

Prior to joining the firm, Jason specialized in representing banks, private lenders, and loan servicing organizations at a boutique litigation firm in Denver. Jason also has experience protecting mechanic’s lien claimants and has represented both residential and commercial builders in construction defect litigation.

Jason received his Juris Doctor from the University of Colorado at Boulder, where his coursework focused on business and intellectual property law. During law school, Jason was awarded the Sun Microsystems Intellectual Property Law Scholarship, participated in the Rothgerber moot court competition and natural resources legal aid clinic, and was a law clerk for the Colorado Attorney General’s litigation department.

Prior to law school, Jason earned his undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering/Power Technology at Oklahoma State University and is a third generation OSU Cowboy. After graduating from OSU and prior to law school, Jason worked for several years as a Mechanical Project Engineer for The Forney Engineering Corporation in Dallas, Texas. While at Forney, Jason was a lead project engineer on both domestic and international projects and designed combustion control systems for applications in the electric utility, chemical processing, petrochemical, and pulp/paper industries.

Jason was born in Stillwater, Oklahoma and grew up in Tulsa, Oklahoma. In his spare time, he enjoys hiking, skiing, lifting weights, attending Rockies games, working on his family’s farm, and supporting the Oklahoma State Cowboys.
