The Attorney You Want in Your Corner!

We cannot recommend our lawyer highly enough. Our parental custody case was a long, difficult, and emotionally exhausting battle, but from beginning to end, we knew we had someone in our corner who genuinely cared and was willing to fight for us. She took the time to understand our situation, list...ened to our concerns, and always made us feel heard and supported. What impressed us most was how tough and determined she was. She was a strong, confident advocate who never backed down and fought tirelessly to protect our family's best interests. At the same time, she remained compassionate, honest, and professional throughout the entire process. Her knowledge, preparation, and courtroom presence gave us confidence during one of the most stressful times in our lives. We always felt well represented and knew she was doing everything possible to achieve the best outcome for our family. If you're looking for an attorney who is compassionate, exceptionally skilled, and isn't afraid to fight for her clients, we wholeheartedly recommend her. We are truly grateful for everything she did for our family and will always appreciate having had her by our side during such a challenging time.

I am sorry to hear that you were dissatisfied with your experience. Because this review is anonymous and appears to concern a matter from approximately 15 years ago, I am unable to identify the circumstances being referenced. In addition, my professional obligations prevent me from discussing confidential details of any client matter in a public forum. I take concerns regarding service and fees seriously and strive to communicate clearly with every client about the scope of representation, costs, and realistic expectations. I invite the reviewer to contact my office directly so that I can better understand and appropriately address the concern.

You’ve got to be kidding me!

Carla was a horrible attorney for me! It was in 2011 I came to her with threats on my life from my husband and seeking a divorce. Her assistant Catherine MacCarthy did ALL the work and answer all my questions, Carla was sick but never was apologetic in her absence as my attorney. I didn’t receive wh...at I should have because she wasn’t willing to stand up to my husbands attorney. I decided to see if she was still an attorney even, when I read all these nice reviews and had to get my truth out there.

Dear Barbara, I am sorry to hear that you were unhappy with your experience so many years ago. Divorce is an incredibly difficult and emotional process, and I regret that you felt unsupported during that time. My commitment to every client is to provide dedicated legal representation while navigating the unique complexities of each matter. While I cannot discuss case specifics due to confidentiality, I assure you that I supervised all aspects of your case, including the work handled by my paralegal. It is standard practice in family law to delegate certain tasks to a paralegal to help manage costs for clients, but all work is completed under the attorney's direction and oversight. I appreciate you taking the time to share your perspective, and I wish you the very best moving forward. Best regards, Carla Scarpone

Forever Grateful

If it were not for Carla's help, I'm not sure I would have the life that I share with my daughter today. Navigating the waters of a custody case are overwhelming and scary. Carla was very effective dealing with my emotions given what was at stake and kept me focused on what was important. Carla he...lped debunk the allegations that were on the table and effectively negotiated a settlement out of court. She is a fantastic family attorney and a wonderful person to boot. I'm forever grateful for her help.

Sharp and compassionate family attorney

Carla handled a fairly complicated divorce for me. She was very well prepared in court, often several steps ahead of opposing counsel. She had answers to their questions before they knew what they were going to ask. She took care to ensure what was best for my son and leveraged a combination of ne...gation and the courts to deescalate where possible. This ultimately brought us to settlement in what, by all measures, could have been a contentious and messy process. Above all, I felt like she struck just the right balance between being legally and strategically acute, while still compassionate to the emotional difficulties of divorce. She often asked me of how my son was doing, with honest concern, and clearly wanted to help me achieve a peaceful and fair outcome. I certainly have no plans to get divorced again, but I would highly recommend her to anybody needing a family attorney.

Relationship: Co-worker

"Carla is a skilled, compassionate family law attorney. She knows how to practice collaboratively, and yet, can drag the biggest misogynists around the courtroom with skill and finesse. Her mental health background gives her common ground with mental health experts, adding value to the client. A first rate attorney who "gets it.""
