    60 days, but i sure hope taht the h1 process is already in the oven a cooking. don't quit the program till you have filed a change of status tot he H1 or the 60 day clock starts to run

    a bit of common sense here. if you think that you might need to travel in the future for a ligitimate reason, apply now and prove the reason iadvance of the need. there is a way to speed up the process but that isonly for emergencies.
