    Description:
    This case was a national class action brought on behalf of all Nissan and Infiniti owners to recover damages resulting from odometers that allegedly over-registered the number of miles actually driven.
  • Choinacki v. American Home Products, Inc.

    Description:
    I was Lead Class Counsel in this case. The case was a national class action on behalf all former American Home Products retirees who received lump sum distributions from the company pension plan that were computed using a discount rate greater than the rate that should have been used (which resulted in lower lump sum distributions than should have been paid). The case resulted in a multimillion dollar settlement.

    I represented 200 independent pharmacies, pharmacy chains and grocery stores with pharmacies against the major drug manufacturers for fixing the prices of brand-name prescription drugs. The litigation generated multi-million dollar settlements for our clients.

    This action is a national class action on behalf of issuing financial institutions that incurred expenses to replace debit cards and credit cards compromised by the Heartland Payment Systems, Inc. data breach in late 2008.

    Description:
    This class action is a takings case brought on behalf of farmers, business owners, fisherman and property owners in the Atchafalaya River basin in south central Louisiana whose farms, businesses, fishery waters and property were flooded when the United States Army Corps of Engineers opened the Morganza Spillway on the Mississippi River in May 2011.
