Getting a divorce is like a death. It's one of the hardest things you can go through. Mr. Linnenbank makes you wonder why people hate lawyers. In addition to his fees being extremely reasonable, he actually made me feel like he cared about me. At this extremely vulnerable and terrifying crossroad, it was such a comfort and solace to feel that someone had my back and was protecting me and making sure my son and I were treated fairly. You see, he helped my divorce feel more like a new birth then a death. His staff is just as kind as he is and I always felt comfortable when I was there. I never wanted to leave because I felt like I was with friends. Having him represent me was a truly wonderful experience.

I have used him several times and found him to be pleasant, competent and available. He has gotten a person off from an ill-deserved DWI, and handled family matters

I happened to be in a very abusive marriage! Where the abuse happened to be, verbal, physical, and financial. My funds were low, because the xspouse hid everything, all attorneys I consulted with would not take my case unless I had 5,000 retainer, not having any family here..I went to Mr. Linnenbank and he was willing to assist me! We worked out a plan, on how he would still get paid..Yes since he is a one man shop, it does take a little longer, because he does not have overhead! Overall he does respond to your calls, and answer your questions..

During a VERY emotionally charged mediation involving an abusive ex-spouse & vindictive grandparents I broke down in tears after it was insinuated that I had relinquished any rights to my child by allowing him to attend a private school in another country & allowing my child to live with his grandparents during that school year. Instead of returning my child to me they kept him another year WITHOUT my concent. Mr. Linnenbank yelled at me & threatened to resign as my attorney if I left the room. I was in no condition to continue with mediation yet I was forced to stay, even after the migraine that this ordeal brought on caused me to rest my head on the table with my eyes closed because any light worsened the pain. Mr. Linnenbank did NOT adequately prepare us for the mediation process nor did he prepare himself. He also did not address the issue of the grandparents who kidnapped my child being allowed to, once again, travel out of the country with my child per the mediated visitation agreement. Duress is the ONLY reason I agreed to or signed ANYTHING!!!!

Donald Wesley Linnenbank’s response: “No good deeds go unpunished. I took on this case pro bono for a friend I met in the filmmaking industry. The friend is the complaining ladies husband. She was set for trial in a week and set for a mediation shortly after I agreed to take the case. In the middle of the mediation my client started to put her head on the table was nonresponsive and wanted to walk out of the court ordered mediation. I persevered and we made an agreement that was good for all. Her husband was shocked that she wrote this and 3 years ago said he would take it down. These kind of experiences have made me reluctant to help out clients who can not pay but will never be satisfied.”
