My favorite type of appeal is what most would call a trainwreck. If you've watched Pulp Fiction, you may remember Winston Wolf, Harvey Keitel's character. That's my job. I walk in when a trial court judgment has gone way off track and try to mop up the mess.
My representation of landowners who are having their land taken by entities with the power of eminent domain (and that's not just governmental entities) grew out of a couple of appellate cases I won and some experiences with my family's farm land in Cooke County. I represent landowners only.
