David did an exceptional job helping me reduce my charges. I am from out of town and he made sure to stay in touch and inform me of any changes.

If I could describe David in one word, it would be: effective. When I first came to David I was extremely downcast about my case; I had been arrested for a DWI, and to make matters worse I had provided proof that I was guilty by blowing in a Breathalyzer. David immediately put me at ease. Just walking into his office gave me hope- there were literally hundreds of thank you cards along his hall that were from cases that he won. To make a long story short, David got my charge of a DWI DROPPED to a lesser charge, with one year of NON-REPORTING probation. During the whole process, I was never worried about anything. David would always text or call me to let know how my case was going and the things I needed to do to help my case. Never did I feel like my lawyer was calling, I always thought of him like a helping friend. I was recently hired as a teacher, but because my probation was still in effect I was going to be deemed as ineligible. I immediately called David and without hesitation he scheduled to meet with the judge two days later to motion for my probation to be dropped. It got dropped a week later and now I can have a career. As a person who has NEVER had any experience with the justice system, I would strongly recommend you to secure your future by hiring David as your attorney. He knows exactly what he's doing, and the level of professionalism combined with his experience is out of this world. Hiring an attorney is the biggest choice you will make when having to go through this process. Go in with David, you will immediately feel more confident!!

David Burrows was referred to me by an attorney who he had represented. He was personable and I felt so much better after our initial meeting. His service was superb. He kept me informed and educated during the entire process. I could not give a higher reccomendation of his level of service. It was also refreshing to see how well respected he is by his peers and courthouse staff. If you need DUI representation, he is your man.

I received a DWI in Collin County, which most know is the second hardest county in Texas to deal with and was possibly facing jail time. Officers did not have a lawful reason to pull me over and with a Motion to Suppress, David got my case dismissed, yes I said dismissed. David and his staff were very professional at all times and available whenever I had a question. Let me tell you I did not expect to win this case because of it being such a difficult county and am very grateful for all that he did on this case.

I have had the unique experience of being a witness from both sides. David's reputation as a seasoned DWI attorney proceeds him. When I had the unfortunate experience of a negative encounter with law enforcement that resulted in my arrest, I turned to David for help and i'm so glad I did so.
David is friendly and professional. He did not mislead me and was responsive to my needs. After consulting with David I elected to go to trial for the alleged offense. From the beginning of "Voir Dire" process at trial what was very clear to me was David's ability to relate to the Jurors. He clearly explained the law and their duty to it. David's examination of the state's witness was respectful and fair but firm. It effectively helped outline the reasonable doubt to the jury. His examination of me at trial effectively challenged the state's accusation and in conclusion helped facilitate justice. I was found not guilty. Thank you David.

I was not guilty of DWI, alcohol or drugs, from the start. I passed the breathalyzer at the scene so the officer arrested me for suspicion of drugs. I disbelief that this was happening to me. It was unbelievable. I was interrogated by the officer as well as the narcotics officer that night. I walked out of jail 24 hours later and was told by a family member that David Burrows would be expecting my call tomorrow. I met David as soon as possible, and from the moment I sat down with him I knew I was in good hands. I saw the accolades and trial winning recognitions all over his wall, and my gut told me I had the best. I did have the BEST lawyer, indeed. It was a very hard circumstance for me to deal with. I had a ton of questions and I was angry that I was being mistreated by the justice system. I experienced how mistreatment by a police officer felt. I was NOT GUILTY of any crime and my blood came back negative of any alcohol or drugs. David assured me this is a process and it would take time. I was pleasantly surprised when I received a call from David and he told me my case had been DISMISSED! I was elated. David diligently pushed for my DVD numerous times, and when the prosecution finally received it, it was blank. I have a feeling David knew all along I would get a dismissal, but as my legal counsel, he could not tell me that. What he did was presented the facts, fought for my justice, and got a dismissal. I am a very happy person and David got the job done. I chose the best lawyer and was totally satisfied with the out come. Not only did David help me, but Steve Kim in his office did a tremendous job in assisting me all the way. As mentioned, I was extremely upset that this was happening to me, and Steve was there to answer any and every question I had, even if I asked the same question more than once. He showed empathy towards my situation and I was grateful to be working with David and his team. So if you ever need a lawyer, choose David Burrows. No prosecutor wants to go up against David Burrows in a trial, trust me. Because David will bring justice!!

Over a year ago I was pulled over for speeding and accused of DUI, alcohol. After an hour or questioning me and putting me through the field tests they took me to a hospital to take blood. (In Collin County they do not allow breathalyzer and only take blood.) My blood came back as a .089
Hearing about David through a friend, I talked with him and we discussed the fact that a 'not guilty' verdict in Collin is more difficult than in Dallas due to several factors: they won't reduce the charge, they take blood, and it is a very conservative area. Over the last year I have been in touch with David frequently, meeting with him (or his staff) on occasion, and they have always gone out of their way to make it easy for me since I work a day job. Often we met on Saturdays, and once his assistant walked out of a conference in Dallas to give me some paperwork.
I was offered several plea deals by the prosecution, but turned them all down in favor of a jury trial. After turning down a deal for 4 days in jail and a minimal fine they finally asked if I would be willing to try the case in front of the judge only, without the jury. We took this option.
Knowing the Prosecution would have their own blood work expert, we hired an expert named Dr. Wimbish. As a chemist and an individual who trains people in field sobriety tests he not only questioned the process of determining the blood alcohol, the likelihood of knowing my blood at the time I was pulled over and intimidated versus one hour later when they drew the blood, but more importantly he graded me from the video of the the field sobriety test with a passing score instead of failing. Between Dr. Wimbish and David Burrows they cast a reasonable doubt on the testing procedures, the margin of error in the bloodwork, and the officer's flawed scoring procedures.
As a twist, the Police had found a receipt for three drinks in my wallet and kept using it against me during the case. Instead of David arguing it, which was the most likely tactic, he used the receipt to verify the time of my last drink, which allowed him to put forward the idea that my blood alcohol level may have been rising at the time I was pulled over, and it was likely I was not impaired until an hour later when they took the blood.
The judge declared me "not guilty," which says all you need to know about David's skill as an attorney.

William David Burrows is by far the best DWI attorney. I had another attorney in whom I wasn't confident in so I was referred to David by a friend and hiring him as my attorney was one of the best decisions I could have made for myself. He is a very up front and honest attorney who has worked hard on my case. He gave me great advice especially when it came pleading not guilty. If you want to win your DWI case I strongly recommend William David Burrows.

While visiting Dallas Tx I was arrested for a suppected DUI. David Burrows was recommend to me by a good friend and I retained him. I reside in NJ but David stayed on top of my case with monthly updates until the trial. During the trail David presented the facts of that nights events, and the discrepancies . The trial lasted 2 days and I was found not guilty. After trial David had all details of this case expunged from all databases. If you are looking for the best then use David Burrows.
