I hired them to represent me in a defective tile installation done in my house. They never finished writing the lawsuit but charged me almost $5000, almost $2000 was for a 5 page letter they called an update. The letter was nothing but information about basic law and was essentially just a repeat of what we discussed during our initial "free" consultation. When I contested the bill they dropped their representation of me and sent me the bill for about $4,700. The odd thing is the attorney told me I had used about $3,000 of my $5,000 retainer on the last day they did any work. It was after I notified them that I was contesting the bill that my expenses mysteriously increased to $4,700. I believe I made a huge mistake by using this firm.
