Prior to establishing the McEntee Law Group, I spent several years working for a Chicago-based full-service immigration law firm where I advised the small/medium-sized firms to multinational Fortune 500 companies in Technology, Pharmaceuticals, & Engineering.
I provided counsel on all major employment-based temporary categories in addition to green card applications. I also represented professional sports teams in Chicago on the visa options for foreign-born players.
On a personal note, I am very passionate about my involvement with community-based organizations in the Chicagoland area. I serve as Director of the Chicago Irish Immigrant Support Group (CIIS), a non-profit organization dedicated to serving the immigration, social & economic needs of immigrants in Chicago. CIIS is part of an umbrella group of immigrant organizations, the Illinois Coalition for Immigrants & Refugee Rights & a core member of the Coalition of Irish Immigration Centers.
I am also a Board Member for the American Ireland Fund (AIF), Young Leaders Program. The AIF is a philanthropic organization dedicated to raising funds to support programs of peace & reconciliation, arts & culture, education & community development throughout Ireland.
