Hi all , i would like to know how long can it take after approuval of an i130 process to have the residence

Asked by a user in Fort Lauderdale, FL - over 1 year ago.

Hi, Using your brother as a petitioner takes a very long time. You will want to look at the Visa Bulletin from the State Department to understand what cases they are working on at any given moment. There is no way to speed the case up. You would have to have a different petitioner all together (for example: a US citizen wife or employer) to get here more quickly.

Can a person who was born in another country but became a US citizen get deported?

Asked by a user in Newark, NJ - about 2 years ago.

US citizens can't get deported in most cases. If the citizenship was obtained through fraud and misrepresentation they might but that doesn't appear to be the case that you're describing.
