There is no clear answer because marital property laws and Chapter 767 divorce laws do not apply. Any assets acquired during the time period when the parties acted as a joint enterprise must be divided equitably between the parties unless the court determines that the contested asset was acquired by independent means, outside the joint enterprise's domain. Sadly after 15 years there is almost no possibility of reopening the judgment. Generally a motion to reopen must be made within 1 year, and in cases of fraud "within a reasonable time." Fifteen years is simply too long. The statute of limitations for suing your lawyer is generally 6 years.
