Description: Plaintiff claimed that 9 volt, 1200 amp rectifiers it bought from defendant failed to work on its high capacity electroplating line. Plaintiff presented damages of over $500,000. Defendant counterclaimed for $32,289 owed on account for the equipment. After a two-week trial and the testimony of four experts, the jury rejected plaintiff's damage claims and only awarded plaintiff $34,413 on its claims. It also awarded the defendants $32,289 it was still owed for the rectifiers. The net result was an award of $2, 124 for the plaintiff. No appeal was taken.
