I've heard that you have to be bonded to be a guardian in OH, is that true?
Yes. A fiduciary (performance-surety) bond is required for a Guardian. The purpose is to ensure the performance of the fiduciary. If the guardian fails to perform, the Court will appoint a successor who will complete the required actions and will be paid by the bonding company. The bonding company could sue the Guardian to recover the amounts paid.See question
