DUI Drama!! Yes, I was arrested in March of 2013, and charged with a DUI. I have never been in this situation before and did not know what to do, so I did what I know best, “Google” searched it. I was directed to a website for DUI Lawyers, typed in my information, and within five minutes received a call from Attorney Benjamin Luftman. I explained to him what had happened and from day one he was very friendly and helpful. I drive extensively for both of my jobs, so right off the bat I was told by Attorney Benjamin Luftman, “the first thing we are going to do is get your license back”. Wow, was he correct!! He was on the phone with the Prosecutor, got my court day pushed up tremendously, and had me out of this mess within a few weeks. To make a long story somewhat short, Benjamin was able to get my DUI dropped to “physical control”, that’s a zero point traffic ticket, I had my driver’s license back within two weeks of the incident and I had to go to a Drivers Intervention Program (DIP), for three days in lieu of a (30) day jail sentence. Even though I have never had this problem, during DIP, I learned just how amazing of a lawyer I hired. There were 21 people in the DIP class and out of the 21 people, I was the only one that had received my license back (not just driving privileges), the only one with a physical control (not reckless op-a four point traffic violation), and the only one who was able to put this entire problem behind me within five weeks of my arrest. Needless to say, at least 75% of the people in the DIP class had hired a lawyer, but not any of them had their driver’s license back, they just had driving privileges and all of them had received the four point reckless op violation. I don’t know much about the law, but what I do know is that I had an awesome lawyer. I strongly recommend this law firm if you want the “drama”, quickly behind so that you can move forward. Benjamin Luftman and staff helped with my traffic/criminal case from start to finish (I even received a personal follow up call regarding the health of a family member I had mentioned weeks before the case was resolved). My case was continued many times and the staff and all attorneys involved were willing to take the time it took to properly resolve my case. In the end, the hard work and time payed off, I saved my career and my dignity knowing that many charges were put behind me. Constant updates by email and phone were much obliged, this kept my case private. A flat rate cost also had me resting assured that the hours worked were never piling up into a bill I couldn't afford. Ultimately, Mr. Luftman was professional, efficient and affordable. I would hope that we would never have to do business again, but wouldn't hesitate to call for help. When there's many attorneys to choose from and only a few to trust be sure to at least give these guys a shot, I can promise they won't dissapoint.
