“The client's case was dismissed after she left the state with no contact during an ongoing case which she had filed. After numerous continuances and attempts to reach the client, the judge dismissed the case. I refused to advise the judge that my client had become unavailable, for fear that it would prejudice the judge against my client, in case she did return to the state. Unfortunately, she did not return prior to the dismissal.”
