About me

I'm one of the first women who was hired by any of the law firms in Nashville.  I slugged my way through the system as a single mom.  I've done all kinds of litigation and alternative dispute resolution.  Now I concentrate my practice on elder law issues, including estate planning, probate, Medicaid planning, VA planning and benefits, conservatorships, powers of attorney and living wills.

  • Stephen James Zralek

From working with Barbara in the past, I know first hand that she is a fantastic lawyer and mediator. She grasps issues immediately, comprehends a case's strengths and weaknesses, and zealously advocates for her clients, handling some high profile cases and, more recently, helping clients with estate planning issues. As a mediator, she helps clients cut to the heart of their dispute, looking for creative ways to resolve the problem.
