About Me

received my undergraduate degree from Millsaps College in Business Administration, cum laude. While attending Millsaps, I received several awards for leadership and educational accomplishments. These include being elected the President of the Student Government Association, selection in Who’s Who of College Graduates, the Wall Street Journal Award for academic achievement in the area of finance, selection as a member of Omicron Delta Kappa, a leadership and academic honorary, and selection as a member of Order of Omega, a leadership honorary. Upon completing Millsaps, I entered the University of Alabama School Of Law. While there, I received recognition for my studies in the areas of Labor and Employment Law and I was selected as an Associate Editor to The Law and Psychology Review. In addition, while attending the University, I was chosen to serve as a summer clerk for the Honorable Richard W. Vollmer, U.S. District Court Judge for the Southern District of Alabama. I went into practice with Mark Wolfe in 1999. Besides being licensed to practice law in Alabama, I am also licensed in the State of Mississippi.

Since becoming licensed in the State of Alabama and the State of Mississippi, my practice has focused on representing victims and their families in personal injury and wrongful death claims. Though my practice is primarily located in Alabama, since joining the firm, I have expanded my practice to include cases in Mississippi. I have also been involved in numerous cases involving 18- wheelers and I am a member of the American Association of Justice – trucking Litigation Group. I have tried numerous auto-negligence cases in Circuit Court and have attained Advocate status through the American Association of Justice College of Advocacy. I have also served as a member of the Mobile Bar Association Young Lawyer Executive Committee and served on the executive Committee for the South Alabama Trial Lawyers Association.

My wife, Marian, and I are lifetime residents of Mobile. We have two children, Annie and Jimbo. I am active in my family’s church, Central Presbyterian Church, and serve on the Board of Directors for Family Promise.
