Haskell v. Apkerian

Outcome: Following trial the verdict was upheld on appeal

Description: Joseph Apkarian was southbound on Ninth Street in St. Petersburg, FL when Madie Haskell pulled from her dry cleaners attempting to cross Ninth Street and turn left striking Mr. Apkarian. Mr. Apkarian received life threatening injuries requiring hospitalization at St. Anthony's Hospital followed by months of rehabilitation. Suit was brought and following a jury triall in which Mr. Apkarian was fully compensated for his injuries the defendants appealed. Mr. Apkarian's verdict was upheld on appeal.
