Ms. Scott helped me tremendously with my child support issue by educating my on rights that I had regarding obtaining a passport. Even though I am paying back child support and was told that I could not obtain a passport, Ms. Scott showed me how I was indeed eligible to receive a travel passport. She was professional, courteous, and very knowledgeable. And the whole experience was very cost effective for me, as Ms. Scott also laid out various payment options available to me. I didn't feel like just another client, as I had with other attorneys, but I truly felt Ms. Scott sincerely wanted to help me resolve my issue in a timely manner.

I honestly do not have enough good things to say about Tara and her staff. After my divorce, my credit went downhill and eventually got so bad I had to file a chapter 7 bankruptcy. I did a quick Google search and discovered the Law Office of Tara J. Scott. Thank goodness I ended up in the hands of Tara and her staff. They were all friendly and incredibly professional during the whole process. You can tell that Tara knows her stuff and is very clear and to the point. She tells you how it is. She failed to represent and excelled at billing practices. If this review was for how fast an Attorney can withdraw from client / business account she would get 5 stars. Initially she talks a good game and makes you feel like she has your best interest in mind both legally and financially. At the same time charging for every minute, every email, every question answered, every paralegal/ office manager duty for your case even if you do the work yourself her office takes the credit and you get the bill. Speaking of bills, don't think that you will have time to dispute any charges because by the time you send a payment for deposit, she withdraws it at the same time and sends you the bill after the fact. I am so disgusted with this office because she has only had my case for less than a year and has made NO progress on my case but has managed to (EARN) bill me for an excess of $16000.
