I have devoted my entire legal career to the practice of criminal law. While in law school, I was one of the only Los Angeles District Attorney interns permitted to try a felony case, from jury selection to verdict. It was an experience that will always live with me, since it is the moment I knew criminal law was for me.
After graduating from law school, I came back home to Miami, and started prosecuting domestic violence cases. Since many of these cases involved victims that did not wish to press charges, I was able to get a unique insight into the uphill battle that the accused face just by being arrested. After litigating thousands of cases, I knew that my heart was set on helping people navigate the criminal justice system.
Being a former prosecutor, I am no stranger to tactics that the government uses when litigating a case. Knowing these tactics enables me to be confident when a case is ready to go to trial. Unlike many other attorneys, I don't tell my clients to enter a "no contest plea" just because I want to collect the fee. My desire is to get my clients the best result possible. The attorney-client relationship is a sacred bond, and I want to ensure that my clients feel secure and confident when they hire me.
If you've been arrested, or need a consultation regarding a pending criminal matter, please contact me, I would love to help.
