Jason Aaron Lacosse

Following a successful engineering career which began during graduate school in Ann Arbor, I transitioned to the field of intellectual property law ten years ago, starting out as a law clerk in Denver.  I currently practice in Miami as a Registered Patent Attorney and Florida Bar Board Certified Specialist in intellectual property law, holding an AV Preeminent peer rating by Martindale-Hubbell.

Before my legal career, I spent about seven years in the high-tech sector, holding various positions ranging from R&D and product development to sales & marketing - with an emphasis on transitioning cutting edge laboratory research into practical, real world applications.  Over the years, I had the privilege of contributing to numerous projects which have ultimatley led to advancements in military technology, medical devices, telecommunications, and other industrial applications.

These days, I continue to support similar efforts, albeit from a legal perspective.  I also work with a broader range of industries which include consumer goods, fashion, and retail services in addition to high tech.
