The BEST attorney in town!

For years I was fighting the HOA in my condo rental unit that was uninhabitable due to water emanating from upstairs. I hired a forensic building inspector, Mr. Jeff Hooper who wrote a comprehensive report that indicated the building problems. Yes, it did take years to resolve because it is a process... that the HOA and insurance companies delay intentionally while denying there was a problem. When the defense attorneys inspected my condo unit Mr. Militzok was there to observe the process. Mr. Militzok won a sizable settlement which shocked me. I provided detailed communication with everybody involved that included face-to-face meetings, emails, telephone calls and pictures over time. The plaintiff must do their part as He said/she said does not stand up in court. Supporting documentation wins the case along with a knowledgeable attorney like Mr. Matthew Militzok. I provided the documentation and Mr. Militzok went to work. There was no need to constantly call Mr. Militzok and bug him as all comes together in due time. Most litigants call the attorney constantly wanting to know what's happening, this can be annoying for attorneys. This is the first time I sued an entity, but I knew annoying the attorney constantly is not the way to go. When any attorney has information, the attorney will contact the client with an update. I feel we worked well together. Yes, it did take a couple of years, but Mr. Militzok got the job done, well done. Litigants must have patience. The few times I spoke with Mr. Militzok he was available and ready to listen. I could not have asked for a better attorney! Thank you, Mr. Militzok and your associates/team.

The best mold attorney in Florida!

I retained the services of Militzok & Associates more than 5 years ago due to a conflict with a cheap and vicious landlord. The property looked like it was up to code when I rented it, but all sorts of problems appeared eventually such as the landlord’s responsiveness to fixing leaks and covered up m...old growth that led to health issues with huge out-of-network medical bills. I started experiencing wheezing, headaches, and flu-like symptoms every morning towards the end of 2015. A friend suggested that my apartment may have a slight musty smell, but I ignored her concerns until the stove malfunctioned on the day before Christmas and I was shocked after removing all appliances to reset it. The wall was all covered with the worst type of black mold. I ordered a mold inspection the following day, and after receiving the report I sent an overnight 7-day notice to cure to my landlord who ignored the remediation procedures suggested in the report. Research on mold and mold-related health issues is ongoing so you can’t go to any doctor or any personal injury attorney. There are very few doctors that are knowledgeable about the problem and most of them, unfortunately, don’t take insurance. After speaking to Matthew and Adi at the beginning of 2016, I knew that I was in the right place. They were kind, professional, and well-versed. After taking the details for my case, they explained the whole process. My uneducated landlord said that the mold issue was a big scam and never fixed the unit by following the proper mold remediation procedures. I started feeling so sick that I had to go to the ER in February 2016 and by the end of the month I was able to vacate the sick property. In a couple of days after moving out, I felt much better and the terrible flu-like feeling every morning was gone but I went through a lengthy, unpleasant, and expensive mold mycotoxins treatment. A day after I vacated the property, in retaliation, my vicious landlord filed a false removal of tenant case. Matthew warned him friendly and filed a counter lawsuit immediately. The case negotiations took more than 5 years due to my landlord’s unwillingness to settle but the law firm never dropped my case, and in the end, justice was served. After my initial research and personal experience, I can conclude that Militzok & Associates, The Mold Lawyers, is the only law firm in Broward County, and probably in the whole state of Florida that is knowledgeable about mold exposure and clearly explains it on their website. My suggestion to future clients: Be ready to prove your case with photographs, a mold inspection of the property, a urine mycotoxins test with Real Time Labs, doctor’s appointments, and keep track of medical bills. Militzok & Associates will hold your hand, and file your lawsuit, but you must prove your case first.

Matthew Militzok and his associates provided me with an excellent outcome for severe mold and water damage of my condominium from a neighbor upstairs. Not only did they have to fight the neighbor on my behalf, but also my condominium association. Fixed my Student Loan issue fast and easy!
