Can i give temporary custody of my baby to my step sister??

You can give temporary custody of your child to your step-sister pursuant to Chapter 751, Florida Statutes. It involves a Court proceeding in which the Court would grant your step-sister Temporary Custody. Notice must normally be given to the father. Chapter 751 involves Temporary Custody by "Extended Family," however that term include persons related by "blood or marriage." I believe your step-sister would qualify.
