Michael Shorstein is an amazing person, personally and professionally. My husband and I feel fortunate that we were able to meet with Michael and his team when we were pursuing our options for beginning a family.

Our introduction to Michael Shorstein evolved from our desire to learn about adopting a child when we faced challenges of starting a family via fertility treatments and numerous disappointments. We spoke with four other attorneys at that time vis a vis our search of someone we felt was honest, understood our trepidations, while finding a situation that worked well for our family. Not only did Michael Shorstein exhibit all the non-negotiable qualities we were seeking, there was something comfortable and welcoming about Michael. It “just felt right.” We also believe he appreciated our financial parameters, in addition to other wishes, as we explored the adoptive process.

Although my husband and I spent excessive time researching the adoption process, Michael Shorstein provided us with the real life information that we quickly learned was not available via research material. Michael is knowledgeable and passionate about what he does. He also is extremely dedicated to the success of all parties invested in the adoptive relationship. He provides continuous guidance throughout the process of a life altering experience for both the individual making a decision to place their unborn child for adoption and for a couple who is desperately seeking a newborn.

My husband and I feel fortunate to have remained in touch with Michael for almost seven years after the adoption of our son was finalized. We value his friendship and we will always value the gift he placed in our arms WITHOUT ONE bump in the road. When people approach me when they are considering adoption, I always rave about the most amazing experience in my life, the person who made it happen (i.e. Michael Shorstein), and of course, our son, who my husband and I helped enter the world at 4:00 am on the day he was born.
