Mr Ourednik helped me on a legal situation during a very emotional and stressful time in my life. My Mother had passed a couple months earlier and I had recently become disabled, so I was having a difficult time managing all the legalities required during this time. He was extremely patient and compassionate about making sure that I understood everything before, during and after the legal arrangements were completed. He explained everything so that I was able to understand what was actually happening and didn't feel lost. I wish I would have engaged him sooner as I know he would have eliminated much of my stress and pain during this time.

I needed help with asset management, a living will, a will and power of attorney. All the items on my "to-do" list which I never seemed to have time for as I had previously owned my own businesses and spent most of my time running them.

I have absolute trust in his professionalism, courtesy and time management which I have found to be somewhat lacking in other legal firms. My best interests were always taken seriously and with high regard in all of our dealings.

He also made me feel that, although I don't understand law, I was in no way subordinate. His respect of what I had accomplished in my profession was mutual.

I would highly recommend engaging Mr Ourednik before you need any of those types of services as that would have made my situation much less stressful even if the loss of a loved one is still felt.

I have recently contacted him again with additional questions regarding both tax issues and managing the distribution of my Mother's estate.

Due to the economy, the estate has taken a severe decrease in actual monetary value, but that didn't seem to make any difference in the client-attorney relationship. Mr Ourednik has always made me feel like a valuable client, no matter how minimal my concerns were.

While he seemed quite knowledgeable, Karel was more interested in doing what he "thought" I needed rather than listening to what I actually needed him to do. When I questioned him he became quite defensive and unprofessional towards me.
