Your 401 should be federally protected from creditors. Tell them you have hired a lawyer and that usually stops the threats. Tell them to put it in writing and then take it to a lawyer, the fair debt collection act prevents abuses of this type
Unfortunately, I think they can. There are of course special rules for student loans and I have seen them do things that would not otherwise work-just because its a student loan. They are also non dischargable in BK
You are suppose to have renters insurance to cover your personal belongings. Unless you can show that the flooding occured due to your LL's negligence you are probably out of luck. You might file a criminal complaint for the threats
In Florida the landlord has reasonable access to the home. I think taking pictures for a listing for sale would be reasonable
The trustee can go back as far as 2 years
