I don't know how many lawsuits there are, but I do not believe they are viable unless the information is inaccurate. Generally, these sites get their information from public records. If you have been booked, then it is public record and fair game.

The general rule is 3 years from the date of injury or discovery of the injury. See SECTION 15-3-530. Section 15-3-40 provides, "Exceptions as to persons under disability," but it appears that this cannot be extended more than 5 years. Section 15-3-60 may extend it longer if there are 2 or more disabilities, but I would suggest speaking to a lawyer who is licensed to practice in South Carolina. You can call the State Bar and ask for a lawyer referral. Regardless, time is of the essence.
