I hired this lawyer because she promised that she would help me with my very messy divorce situation. My spouse had maliciously filed a bunch of false information claiming all kinds of untrue or exaggerated facts. I signed a retainer agreement and paid a pretty large amount of money up front because Esther told me that this was a messy case and that I was going to lose everything - but that she could help me. After I paid the money, she started taking a long time to return my phone calls and my frantic messages. I was very worried but she kept telling me that she was in court or that she was in a meeting. She also didn't seem to be really listening to my concerns and wanted to just do whatever she wanted to do. I finally lost my case very badly. I later found out that she never even read any of my messages because everything I asked her about my message she didn't have a clue what I weas talking about. I won't hire this attorney again. I wish I would have used another attorney. The sad part is that I probably could have represented myself better and not lost so badly.
I hired Ms. Panitch to help me with a difficult divorce in 2013, based on a referral another lawyer. From the beginning she was very difficult to work with and did not seem very organized. She kept mixing up the details of my case with her other cases. She refused to listen to my what I wanted from the divorce and she was like an out of control pitbull. I ended up losing my case very badly because she was confused about my case facts during my trial. She also ended making the judge angry and I ended losing very badly. Hiring Ms. Panitch was a very bad mistake - I wish I would have hired another more competent attorney. Do not hire this lawyer. I found out later that she known for using underhanded legal tactics by the majority of the Atlanta legal community.
I was recently arrested for a municipal violation and my neighbor recommended Esther. The location was convenient and when we discussed my case, I left her office with the hope of keeping my license and staying probation free. Using her knowledge of the technical details of my case and her persuasive charms (I guess), she was able to plead my case down to a charge of disorderly conduct. I paid a small fine and left court knowing I'd retained the right lawyer.
