Case Conclusion Date: January 20, 2012
Practice Area: DUI / DWI
Outcome: Reduced to reckless driving
Description: The driver passed a Trooper in the left lane at a high rate of speed and changed lanes abruptly with his left turn signal on the whole time. Upon being asked, the driver said he had about 7 or 8 beers that day at a beerfest. When performing the walk and turn evaluation, the driver looked impaired. The driver provided a sample for the roadside alcosensor. After being arrested for DUI, the driver declined to provide a breath sample for the Intox 5000.
