Melissa Lois Darden Griffis

Melissa Griffis heads the domestic relations litigation department and mediation/arbitration departments for Rosenzweig, Jones, Horne & Griffis, P.C.  She has years of experience handling high asset and complex divorce cases.  She is a certified Collaborative Law attorney in both family and civil matters.  Melissa’s practice includes serving as a mediator, arbitrator or litigator in Coweta, Carroll, Troup, Heard and Meriwether counties. Melissa has also served as a consultant to other metro Atlanta attorney’s to evaluate divorce cases.

Melissa is admitted to all courts in the State of Georgia and the State of Alabama.  She is an active member of the First Baptist Church of Newnan serving as a children’s Sunday School Teacher, Ladies Bible Study Leader and on the Personnel Committee.  Melissa serves as the Chairman of the Elm Street Elementary School Council.  Melissa is a Sustaining Member of the Newnan Junior Service League (Executive Board 2005-2009) and a graduate of the Newnan-Coweta Chamber of Commerce Leadership Coweta.  She, her husband and children reside in Newnan.
