Outcome: Search of Defendant Held Unconstitutional

Description: Defendant was stopped exiting a train and suspected of carrying controlled substances. Defendant was later taken and searched. A large amount of cocaine was found concealed in her bra. Defendant's motion to supress was denied by the Trial Court. On appeal the NC Court of Appeals reversed holding the search of defendant's person was unconstitutional.
