Description:Malicious prosecution case. Supreme Court for New York. Judge Gammerman. Trial judge dismissed entire action but on appeal case was reinstated. One of the few malicious prosecution cases based on a civil action to go to trial in New York. Two week jury trial resulted in jury verdict of $53.8 Million, including $50 Million in punitive damages. Listed in largest jury verdicts for 2002.
