Compassionate, thoughtful, and supportive

Darcy served as the mediator in our divorce. At the most difficult time in my life she was compassionate, supportive, and helped us reach an agreement and avoid litigation that would have been both costly and painful. Her office's welcoming, even cozy atmosphere is very symbolic of who she is, offeri...ng comfort and calm at a time when you most need it. We found her through the recommendation of a friend, and after working with her, I would recommend her to anyone. She is also just a wonderful human being and a credit to her field.

Excellent!

I had a relatively simple divorce and Darcy made it even easier. She was easy to communicate with: she was available to answer my questions even after hours or weekends. She explained the process, therefore I had no surprises. She's knowledgeable and drew my attention to details that I didn't conside...r before. I highly recommend her.

Superb professional with a caring nature

Darcy was wonderful during a difficult time during my divorce negotiations. As I tried to emotionally distance myself, I was able to see her take charge of the meetings and derive a fair and equitable agreement for all. Her competence was obvious. I was so glad I had been referred to her. She late...r did a pre-nuptual agreement for me and was just as good as during the divorce. I recommend her highly!

Best thing about my divorce was meeting Darcy

Legal Council for Separation and Divorce

Darcy Shoop provided clear and sound legal advice and excellent guidance through the separation and divorce process. This advice was extremely helpful for drafting a parenting agreement that was acceptable for both parties, which allowed for an amicable ending. I also appreciated her straight forward... approach to explaining issues and presenting multiple solutions with pros and cons to each.
