About me

Rebecca is a partner at the law firm of Ain & Bank, P.C.  Her practice encompasses all aspects of family law, including divorce, property distribution, alimony, custody and child support.  She resolves her cases through mediation, Collaborative law, and when necessary, litigation.  Rebecca is also a trained mediator. 
Rebecca practices law in both D.C. and Maryland.


Rebecca is a past (2011-2013) co-Chair of the D.C. Bar Family Law Section Steering Committee.  She has been a contributing author of the Custody Section in the Domestic Relations chapter of the District of Columbia Practice Manual, serves as a guardian ad litem, as a mentor to other lawyers in the DC Bar Advocacy and Justice Clinic, is a volunteer at the DC Bar Advice and Referral Clinic and volunteers as an Attorney-Negotiator in D.C. Superior Court.


She received her law degree from American University-Washington College of Law (J.D., 2002) and her undergraduate degree in African-American Studies from Bates College (B.A. with Honors, 1997).
