A Board Certified Civil Trial Attorney, Mr. Kearney represents children and families who have been victims of medical malpractice, HMO negligence and hospital mistakes caused by violating patient safety rules, as well as workers hurt on the job and people who have been seriously injured in accidents.
Mr. Kearney is a long time workers' rights advocate and author of the 115 page book Protect Your Rights, The Ultimate Guide to D.C. Workers' Compensation. He continues to represent injured workers and people seriously injured or killed in preventable accidents.
Mr. Kearney's work with children who have cerebral palsy and other disabilities led him to publish a parent's guide to resources in the D.C. area, Getting Everything Your Special Needs Child Deserves. Rather than sell this valuable resource guide, he gives it away to any family with a special needs child in the D.C. area.
We believe our cases are about more than fair compensation for patients, workers and families. Through our cases we try to change the way hospitals, HMOs and employers do things in the future - by putting patients' safety and workers' safety first.
